Neil McCabe

Neil has developed strong relationships with RSLs and local authorities where he is widely known for his expertise in housing as well as other sectors.

His knowledge of the industry, especially public sector, is reflected in the successful increase in the range and extent of the different projects his team manages.

He is committed to providing outstanding service, delivering efficient and high quality buildings for clients.

Susan Pasint-Magyar

Joint Managing Director

Susan has been fundamental in leading Hunters' strategies in sustainability, regeneration and development, particularly in the residential and healthcare sectors. The many awards we have won under her guidance are recognition of the quality of our design and architecture.

She has creatively led the architecture team, providing exceptional service that has generated a nationwide portfolio of clients with more than 85% repeat business.

Graham Acus

Director

BSc FRICS

Graham jointly leads Building Consultancy and Surveying, providing services to the public and private sectors.

His breadth of experience and technical expertise make him highly respected in his field. Graham’s personable approach combined with his expertise means that he can carefully guide clients and contractors throughout the design and construction process. A number of his schemes have been highly commended.

He is an APC assessor for the RICS and can also act as an Expert Witness.

Graham is on the National Housing Forum's Making The Best Of Existing Housing working group.

Tim Ashton

Director

Tim is the crucial green cog in the Hunters Architecture team, constantly improving the delivery of the practice's sustainability vision. Specialising in the design and development of complex healthcare and residential sites, he is working with a number of London NHS trusts on refurbishment schemes and has designed award-winning mental health projects.

 

Mark Baines

Director

BSc(Hons) BArch RIBA

Mark has in-depth knowledge of the private and public sectors, working on high-profile residential schemes around the UK as a director of our Architecture team. His experience spans large scale regeneration projects including new-build and major refurbishments often situated within complex urban locations and conservation areas. His other remit includes marketing and business development.

He is working with Hemingway Design on an extensive estate refurbishment in Maidenhead converting rundown estates into positive places for families and life-long homes.

Kate Henry-Aston

Director

Kate is a board director and is jointly responsible for the Employer’s Agent and Cost Consultancy team.

With extensive experience at senior and management level within EA, her projects include both public and private sector residential and mixed use developments using different construction methods.

Much of her work is in extensive regeneration and green field site projects, including the 1,500-home Biddenham Vale and the 500-plus unit keyworker scheme in Oldchurch, Romford.

Kate is on the National Housing Forum's Building Better Homes - Building Better working group.

James Wallace

Leading our Architecture team's care home strategy, James has specialised in senior living and dementia care and is working on long term affordable, high quality, care home design with contractors and clients.

A leading figure in this sector, he delivers seminars and workshops to continually improve the design and provision of care in the UK. He is recognised as one of the industry experts in senior living and leads his team providing first class living conditions for the elderly.

Paul Wellings-Longmore

Director

BArch DipArch MSt RIBA

A director of our Architecture team, Paul designs a range of complex residential, keyworker and primary care developments, as well as exciting interior projects including bespoke hotels and office spaces. This variety has included new-build and refurbishment within the public and commercial sectors.

Paul leads the practice’s design strategy and direction. He previously worked for the international practice HOK and is currently working on some major UK projects including Brenley Park in Mitcham.

Peter Gibson

Director

Peter joined Hunters in 2000 and has been an Associate Director since 2008. He leads Hunters design and technical delivery programmes, using his meticulous planning skills in regeneration, housing, health and commercial projects. His ability to provide energetic design through his architecture and interiors mixed with clear delivery direction gives him a creative edge and strengthen the Hunters Board.

Peter has worked on an exceptional portfolio of schemes from the A2 Dominion HQ in West London, a landmark new office building for 300 employees at the gateway to west London,  to Thomas Road in Tower Hamlets, a striking copper-clad apartment block providing 64 quality affordable homes and Century House, a 154 mixed tenure apartment development sitting above 4,000sqm of commercial space in Bermondsey. Peter has provided pragmatic and creative decisions in his designing. He has been able to drive projects to completion whilst maintaining exciting and memorable buildings.

Currently Peter he is driving forward Royal Docks West Site 1, 2 & 3, completion of a new residential development block in Newham for Mount Anvil. He is also leading the Brunel Street Works, a £120m development adjacent to Canning Town Station and Tollgate Gardens, regenerating a 1960s estate in Maida Vale identified as a priority renewal area as part of Westminster’s housing renewal strategy.

David Capel

Associate Director

BSc(Hons) MRICS MCIOB MAPM

David's specialist area is in Joint Ventures / Collaborations and the procurement of complex mixed-use residential schemes.

He has successfully driven a range of prominent projects including the delivery of 5-year Dee Park near Reading and Gillender Street in Tower Hamlets for Peabody, as well as large, private residential schemes at Century House and Stead Street in London. His work has taken him to overseeing Gallions Quarter, a major JV regeneration of 800 homes totalling £180 million, in conjunction with Notting Hill Housing and the GLA.

David manages Hunters' development monitoring portfolio on behalf of a number of banks and lending institutions.

Bob Forrest

Associate Director

BSc(Hons)

Experienced in both the private and public sectors, Bob has led the Surveying team from strength to strength. His meticulous project management skills and large scale condition survey expertise means his team have delivered surveys around the UK for commercial, education, NHS trusts, and housing organisations. 

He is leading the way in data capture techniques that are tailored individually to suit clients’ needs, including pro-forma. He also develops reports for business planning and to meet asset management requirements of clients.

Ian Johnson

Associate director of Architecture, Ian has specialised in a number of complex health, senior living, community and residential schemes. He led the design and delivery of the award-winning Barkantine Health Centre in Tower Hamlets and has recently completed St Michael's in Norfolk, a senior living village with housing, healthcare and community buildings. 

He has worked for both the private and public sectors and designed some exceptional buildings, including the Thunderbirds inspired Raleigh Weir Fire Station in Essex.

David McNish

David’s knowledge of the health and senior living sectors in Architecture is exceptional and he has recently led the design strategies for living with dementia. His wealth of expertise and project management has enabled him to become a technical advisor for clients on healthcare and senior care design, including for Brent Borough Council. He has also worked on complex PPP and PFI projects for local authorities, including Kent, Suffolk, Kirklees and West Wiltshire PFI.

Paul Stephens

Paul has extensive experience of new build and refurb in both the public and private sectors. He has designed mixed use and mixed tenure residential developments and exclusive office fit-outs. He has worked on Eagle House in Hackney, A2Dominion’s exemplary office on Uxbridge Road, St George’s University library and Notting Hill Housing’s mixed tenure apartment block on Hammersmith Grove.

Gregory Deakin

Greg Deakin, in our Architectural team, has been promoted to Associate Director.

Greg leads on many of Hunters project delivery programmes, meticulously coordinating the design team through working drawing packages, ensuring every facet is managed carefully. Liaising with contractors and the client, his technical knowledge and team management experience ensure a smooth delivery process. He has worked on major health, care, regeneration, commercial and residential schemes.

Ricky Wyatt

Working in the forefront of regeneration, housing and student accommodation, Ricky has specialised in urban and suburban schemes within both the public and private sectors. He has developed specialisms in keyworker & student accommodation, social housing and shared ownership in stand-alone, mixed-use and regeneration projects. His background lies in schools having worked on a number of projects in the south of England.   He manages a number of key projects including new apartments and offices in Colliers Wood, Merton and the recently completed five-year regeneration of Dee Park in Reading,  Grove House Student accommodation in Ealing and Canius House an office conversion to residential as part of the wider masterplan in Croydon. 

Amar Mahil

Associate Director

BSc(Hons) MRICS

Amar is an Associate Director in the Employer’s Agent and Cost Consultancy Team. 

Working in the forefront of joint ventures, regeneration and housing, Amar has focused on delivering Hunters projects by providing impeccable service and working closely with developers, councils and housing providers.

Amar manages a range of projects including two separate joint ventures between Peabody and Redrow Homes, which will bring nearly 300 mixed tenure homes at Pontoon Reach and nearly 500 homes at Alperton House in South Wembley. He recently completed Vista, an impressive development overlooking Battersea Park for Peabody Trust which will bring more affordable homes for London.

Amar is responsible for overseeing a team of four Employer’s Agents at Hunters delivering across 20 sites, providing 300 new homes for Opendoor Homes. Amar is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor who also supports candidates through the APC process.
