This nursing and dementia care home is part of a wide-ranging health campus developed to a best-practice model designed by Hunters’ architects.
Open spaces are emphasised at this 64-bed home, with landscape views, natural lighting, and adjacent historic buildings. The home is planned in an ‘H’ shape, which is ideal for effective nursing supervision, as well as giving residents courtyard gardens.
Hunters also masterplanned a new community hospital, Sue Ryder palliative care centre, and 45 assisted living flats within converted listed buildings at the same campus.
