The New Generation Youth Centre (TNG) in Lewisham has been awarded again, winning a Civic Trust Award, and being a finalist in the Building Awards.

The Civic Trust Awards is the longest standing built environment awards scheme in Europe. It recognises projects that demonstrate high quality architecture or design, have demonstrated sustainability, are accessible to all users and have made a positive cultural, social or economic contribution to the local community.

The Hunters Employer’s Agent team will be presented with the award at a ceremony in Blackpool on 7 March.

TNG has also been shortlisted in the Small Project of the Year category at the Building Awards, facing competition from other schemes valued under £5million, such as a Maggie’s Cancer Cure Centre in Aberdeen, and a new Creative Arts Hub at City College Norwich.

The Building Awards take place on 2 April at Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
