Senior Architectural Technician/Technical Architect – Healthcare
We are looking for a Senior Architectural Technician to join our growing, multidisciplinary practice. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of our award-winning healthcare team, winners of Best Acute Design at the 2025 Healthcare Design Awards, working on a diverse portfolio of public and private sector projects.
We work directly with NHS Trusts across community, acute, and mental health sectors, alongside private healthcare clients including Harley Street clinics.
Our projects typically range up to £10m, alongside a number of larger healthcare schemes (£20m–£30m), giving our team a balance of hands-on delivery and exposure to more complex programmes.
The Role
This role is focused on the technical delivery of projects, with a particular emphasis on producing high-quality construction information and resolving complex detailing challenges.
You will play a key role in ensuring our projects are well-coordinated, buildable, and delivered to a high technical standard.
Key responsibilities
- Produce detailed construction information, including 1:5 and 1:10 details
- Lead on technical packages across later RIBA stages (Stages 4–6)
- Coordinate with in-house disciplines including structures, civils, and PD teams
- Work closely with contractors and consultants to resolve technical queries
About you
- Experienced Architectural Technician or Technical Architect with strong delivery focus
- Proven experience in producing detailed construction drawings (including 1:5 details)
- Experience within Healthcare or similar complex/regulatory environments preferred
- Proficient in Revit
- Strong technical Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing
- Detail-oriented, methodical and solutions-focused
- Comfortable working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
