Hunters Extends King George Hospital

The £14million extension creates two new ultra clean operating theatres, expanded staff facilities, and doubles the number of recovery beds enabling Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust to undertake 100 additional operations each week with the theatres designed to facilitate robotic surgery and interpretive radiotherapy in the future.

Revitalise, Reimagine, Retrofit: The Magic of Retrofit Credits

We’ve been reducing our carbon footprint every year since 2023, but to reach Net Zero we’ve had to invest in Carbon Credits. We wanted to invest in the community we work in – social housing and have teamed up with HACT to enable our investment to be used in retrofit – namely emission reductions in social housing.

Hunters Gets Go Ahead for Phase 3 of Homes in Hertfordshire

The final phase of John Barker Place in Hitchin has received planning. The 48 new homes in Phase 3 enables a total of 131 new homes to be delivered on this extensive site.

The homes are designed around landscaped gardens and play areas, with special attention given to connecting to the wider town which provides a sense of place for the homes.

St. Patrick’s Day Volunteering

Several members of the Hunters team lent a hand at a St. Patrick’s Day celebration hosted by Age UK Kensington & Chelsea. We rolled up our sleeves, served food & drinks, all while having lively conversations with the older community members.

Hunters Volunteering at The Poppy Factory

A big thank you to The Poppy Factory in Richmond for their warm welcome to the Hunters team of volunteers. After a friendly welcome and hearing about the history of the Poppy Factory, our team set to work having a lot of fun making and creating. Between us we made 2,000 handmade poppies and 15 wreaths, which we boxed up ready for Remembrance Day.

‘Kings Speech’ Hospital Gets Exclusive Makeover

Hunters Healthcare team has designed The London Clinic’s Rapid Diagnostics Centre in Harley Street, London where the king’s speech consultancy sessions took place.

The 6 storey buildings at 142-146 Harley Street had been refurbished by The Howard de Walden Estate into a lined series of consulting houses with a shell and core basement, Hunters explored to further fit out the building to create state of the art facilities and an exclusive healthcare experience.

Care Home Planning Win in Epsom for Hunters

Church Street is a new 86-bedroom residential care home with specialist dementia care on a site which was previously a police and ambulance station. Located within Epsom Town Centre and abutting the Church Street Conservation Area, the sophisticated design echoes the feel of local heritage buildings with high quality ornamental detailing and materials.

We’ve Hit NET ZERO for our Scope 1 and 2 Emissions!

At Hunters we were early adopters of measuring our office carbon footprint (as far back as 2003 we piled up boxes of paper and photographed them next to a human demonstrating the unbelievable amount of paper usage) and this year we are thrilled that we have reached NET ZERO in our Scope 1 and 2 emissions.

New Care Home for Littlehampton Completes

Hunters designed Norden House is set to open its doors to residents this month. The 64-bed care home, which offers residential, nursing, and dementia care, boasts sweeping views of the quiet countryside and is located less than a mile away from Climping Beach near Littlehampton.
