Hunters’ Veronica Fiore and Jayne Hall Welcome in New CABE President

Associate Director Veronica Fiore and Associate Jayne Hall attended the inauguration of the new CABE (Chartered Association of Building Engineers) President Paul Grinyer. Veronica and Jayne were joined by Paul’s Predecessor and Immediate Past President Zoe Cox who has just completed her term.

Veronica is one of the two Vice Presidents of CABE whilst Jayne acted as President from 2020-2021. These are elected positions and in an industry which is male dominated we are thrilled that two of the Hunters Building Consultancy team are so proactive in the organisation.

Veronica commented ‘I was a member of the MPSC (Membership and Professional Standards Committee) at CABE since its inception in 2019 until 2025 and have been on the CABE board since 2022.’

During her presidency, Jayne sat on the CIC Inclusivity Panel, was integral in setting up the CABE for Women network, and is a Trustee of the CABE Benevolent Fund.

CABE is an internationally recognised professional body of Chartered Building Engineers, who strive to bring different sectors together, share knowledge, raise standards and develop competent and ethical professionals.

We are delighted to have Veronica and Jayne from the Hunters team volunteering for these key roles of such a reputable organisation and wish Paul the best of luck during his time as President.
