Inside Royal Eden Docks 2: A Look at Hunters Architects’ Award-Winning Project

On the back of Royal Eden Docks winning the Contractors Choice award at this year’s Brick Awards, Hunters staff had the opportunity to join an on-site tour, with Hunters Director Pete Gibson, and some of the team from the contractors, Mount Anvil.

Immediately east of Canary Wharf, London, the Royal Docks is emerging as a new hub for business and culture in London. Over 850 new homes are being created with 5,000 sqm of landscaped space and only 3 minutes to canary wharf on public transport, it is easily accessible.

The tour showcased a blend of completed flats and units still under construction. The group saw the new indoor swimming pool and residents’ gym as well as – the first of its kind – the new rooftop running track with outdoor gym meaning residents can stay fit with great views! The new residents will have access to flexible workspaces when they are working from home, spa and a private cinema room.

Hunters are acting as executive architects on the project. The development is a joint venture partnership between Mount Anvil and ExCel London.
