International Women’s Day 2025

It’s International Women’s Day 2025, and at Hunters, we’re making one thing clear— we need more women in the Building Design and Construction Industry.

Our team is full of talented women—Architects, Building Consultants, Engineers and Marketers who are passionate about their roles. They shared their thoughts on why it can be a rewarding, creative and a positive choice.

Yet, despite the rewards, women are still underrepresented in the industry:

• Only 16.5% of Engineers in the UK are women.
• Only 18% of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors members are women.
• Only 31% of registered Architects are women.
