New Bays for St George’s

As part of wider refurbishment works at St Georges Hospital in Tooting, and one of a number of projects Hunters are designing for the Trust, the Hunters architectural team have created a new facility to care for patients undergoing interventional radiology (IR). This bright, light area replaces office space and has enabled six enclosed recovery cubicles for patients, a new nurse station and improved access to surrounding medical facilities. Planning on Garrison Win!

The Hunters designed homes, which form part of an old garrison site, has received planning.

The new development for Peabody will provide 33 new homes. The majority of the newer military buildings on the site have been demolished, the two remaining Victorian garrison buildings will be retained and incorporated into the overall scheme.

Fly-through for West Drayton

On the back of winning planning approval last year for the new leisure centre in West Drayton, we thought we would share the flythrough we made (short and long versions!). The uplifting design for the multi-activity centre in the London Borough of Hillingdon, West London is expected to go on site autumn 2021. The sports complex enables family fun and committed workouts with two pools, a gym and a roof top sports pitch.

Planning Granted for 64-bed Care Home

Good news from our Later Living team as planning permission has been granted, subject to section 106 agreement, for Bartons Road in Havant, Hampshire. The proposed care home for Brackley Investments Ltd will provide 24-hour nursing, personal and dementia care for the residents.
