Reappointed on to expanding NHS Shared Business Services Framework

We have again successfully been awarded a place for ‘Architectural Consultancy Services’ on the new NHS SBS Framework for the next four years.  Our team has designed and delivered millions of pounds worth of projects for a range of NHS trusts through the previous framework. The process has enabled us to react quickly to NHS refurbishment and new build needs, create improved facilities for many hospitals, staff and patients, and provide a range of other architectural and space planning initiatives around the country.

Promotions at Hunters

We are pleased to announce that in our Architectural team Morgan Parrack has been promoted to Director on the Hunters Board, with Andrew Guy and Gabor Honfi promoted to Associate Directors.

Morgan joined Hunters as a student and has championed the growth of the Healthcare division directing a range of projects for both NHS trusts and private healthcare providers. He manages several complicated healthcare projects and is a firm believer in designing collaboratively and through consultation.

Changes at Hunters

We are delighted to be taking the company forward from a very strong position and we are excited to build on the reputation and relationships that Hunters has established over the last 68 years with our team in Hammersmith. We will continue to lead and grow our multi-disciplinary services, ensuring our clients receive the outstanding service and professionalism that they expect.

We wanted to thank Sue and Neil, who remain as Consultants at Hunters, for their leadership and direction over the last few years.

As part of the ownership change, we have created new positions on the Hunters board with Kate Henry-Aston (now Chair), Mark Baines (now Managing Director) with Tim Ashton and James Wallace.

The rest of the board includes Directors representing our whole business, Graham Acus, Peter Gibson, David Capel, Amar Mahil and Guy Chapman ensuring Architecture, Surveying, EA and CDM / Principal Designer services remain a core part of our practice.

The APC Club is more inclusive than exclusive, developing a range of topics and discussions which benefit the whole team.  The APC Club is structured to ensure all RICS competencies are covered whilst enabling one-to-one and group support and feedback.

Hunters Successful on VIVID Framework

The Employer’s Agent team has been selected for the VIVID Homes framework. VIVID is a leading provider of affordable homes and extensive support services in the south of England. They have over 33,000 homes with more than 72,000 residents. In 2017 they introduced a target of providing another 17,000 new homes in ten years. Hunters has been working with VIVID since their creation in 2017 and have helped deliver over 800 new homes with a build cost of £136 million.

Biodiversity Boost for Affordable Homes

Hunters has designed 266 new homes with Peabody and Mount Anvil in collaboration with scientists from the Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew. This innovative project, Watermeadow Court, will be 50% affordable and have a strong botanical theme through both the architecture and the landscaping. The new design significantly reduces the carbon footprint of the building and removes parking, except for accessible.

Lampton Road Affordable Homes on Home Turf

There is something about working on your own home turf that brings a passion and understanding that is second to none. Our Employers’ Agent Waseem Sayid is doing just that and is part of a wider team completing 217 new affordable homes within the Lampton Parkside development aimed at providing housing for local residents in Hounslow.
The Lampton Road and Civic Centre project is delivering 940 new homes over two major phases of development, as well as the new Hounslow Civic Centre which is now more conveniently located in the town centre.
