Also known as the Kiln Works, this highly complex site in inner London, originally designed by Hunters for Notting Hill Genesis, has completed. Hunters were not only original planning architects, we provided full team services as Principal Designer, Employers Agent and Cost Consultant on the scheme. Nestled within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, the flats are 40% affordable and are located within the heart of a busy East End community. NOMA and Tollgate House Complete

Part of the Councils strategy to deliver 1,850 new affordable homes as well as improve places and spaces, the Tollgate Gardens regeneration in the London Borough of Westminster mixes refurbishment and new build. 53 homes have been retained and refurbished in Tollgate House, with an additional 195 new homes (193 apartments and 2 houses) including 50% affordable providing an additional 27 affordable homes than there were previously. Two Projects, Three Categories

Two projects and three categories for Hunters at this years Planning Awards 2021. Copley W7, with Broadway Living in the London Borough of Ealing, is a finalist in Affordable Housing AND Partnership Working categories designed by our Architects. Malt Street, for Peabody and Berkeley Homes in London Borough of Southwark, is a finalist for Regeneration, our EA team are working on the affordable part.

Architecture for Dementia

We are on the front cover of Dementia Services Development Centre’s new book with Grassy Meadows in the London Borough of Hillingdon. Inside ‘architecture for dementia : Stirling Gold 2002-2020’ you’ll find a case study on Grassy Meadow as well as the Hunters designed The Lakes, and Goodson Lodge. We will continue to use our expertise to improve the lives of those with dementia.

Fly-through for West Drayton

On the back of winning planning approval last year for the new leisure centre in West Drayton, we thought we would share the flythrough we made (short and long versions!). The uplifting design for the multi-activity centre in the London Borough of Hillingdon, West London is expected to go on site autumn 2021. The sports complex enables family fun and committed workouts with two pools, a gym and a roof top sports pitch.

Our Third Finalist Is….

The Building Consultancy and EA teams Centenary Development, in Morden within the London Borough of Merton for Haig Housing, is through to the finals at this years Inside Housing development awards, in the Best Development (urban-London). Providing homes for the ex-service community, Centenary has 68 new homes of varying sizes surrounding a new green for the residents. This is Hunters third project to reach the finals in this years prestigious awards. We wish everyone who worked on the project the best of luck at the next stage.

Delighted our EA team is part of the Brooklands Park team which has been shortlisted for best shared ownership development (urban) in this years IHDA Inside Housing Development Awards for A2 Dominion. Hunters now has two projects in the finals, judged on innovation and excellence in development. Good luck to all involved!

Vic Johnson a Finalist

Vic Johnson house has been shortlisted in this years Inside Housing Development Awards. With a record of over 300 entries, our architects joint submission with Gateway Housing is through to the finals! The Awards recognise innovation and excellence and we are through in the ‘Best older people’s housing development (urban)’ category.
