Adult Therapy

As the first phase of a broader redevelopment plan aimed at enhancing patient care and healthcare infrastructure, the Hunters Healthcare team has designed an uplifting, bright and contemporary new adult therapy area for Chelsea & Westminster Hospital.

The department is situated on the lower ground floor, transforming what were originally dark and tired spaces into soothing and welcoming areas for both staff and patients alike. The refurbished department features state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment to deliver outstanding patient care.

Facilities include a new and improved hand therapy area, rehabilitation gym, consulting spaces for pelvic health and musculoskeletal physiotherapy and a burns therapy area. The collaborative design process by Hunters ensured the new spaces were reflective of staff, patient, and visitor needs.

Hunters collaborated with CW+, to thoughtfully integrate artwork throughout key areas, including waiting rooms, corridors and staff spaces. A curated collection of digital and print artworks celebrating local landmarks and green spaces contributes to a welcoming and therapeutic atmosphere.
