Oak Hill

Oak Hill situated adjacent to Epping Forest, just outside the Green Belt, is a carefully designed development, which incorporates sustainable principles at its core.

The project embraces a holistic approach to sustainability, incorporating air source heat pumps for efficient heating and hot water, alongside a high-performance building fabric that minimizes energy demand. Designed to reduce its carbon footprint by over 10%, the scheme prioritises sustainable technologies to enhance efficiency. By reducing heat loss and lowering heating requirements, the development promotes long-term energy savings while reducing reliance on traditional energy sources.

This result is a high-quality residential care development offering 120 apartments to address a critical need for specialist Extra Care and Care Home housing. The project includes 33 car parking spaces (2 disabled) and 16 cycle parking spaces, supporting the diverse transportation needs.

It’s dedicated to fostering a vibrant, inclusive community through key design principles. It prioritises sustainability, promotes non-car transport, and features thoughtfully designed spaces with inviting landscapes. The scheme supports residents, including those living with dementia, with accessible communal areas such as lounges, a restaurant, a hair salon, wellness rooms, shops, laundry, staff accommodation, and social-friendly layouts.

Hunters are driven by a singular purpose: to provide genuine care and comfort to the residents. This is reflected in our approach to person-centred care, our diverse array of thoughtfully designed facilities, and our commitment to a vibrant lifestyle experience, which we incorporated in this project.

Located in the London Borough of Waltham Forest, Oak Hill is uniquely positioned next to the natural expanse of Epping Forest.
