Link Drive

Eighty homes were thoughtfully designed on a former car park site in Hatfield which complement the existing landscape and architecture while retaining the skate park.

Link Drive is a key element of Hatfield 2030+ Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council’s ambitious regeneration programme, which also includes the Hunters One Town Centre development.

During the design phase attention was paid to the integration of the development with its surroundings and the unique characteristics of the site, particularly the retention of the existing mature trees around the boundaries to the north, east and south.

Because the future is important, these homes are built without gas. Nilan units handle heating, ventilation, and hot water. With integrated heat pumps and reverse cycle functionality, the homes stay cosy in winter and comfortable in summer.

Lovell is the lead contractor and this project is situated in Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council.
