Moorfields Eye Centre
Moorfields Eye Centre, one of Moorfields Eye Hospital’s district hubs at St Georges Hospital, brings expert eye care closer to patients’ homes. Located in the Lanesborough wing, the centre provides comprehensive outpatient and diagnostics care for a wide range of eye conditions, as well as more complex eye surgery.

As part of the organisations commitment to constantly strive to improve their services to ensure they can continue to deliver the very best eye care services and patient experience, the Duke Elder ward underwent a full refurbishment, providing an improved, redesigned clinical environment for patients and staff.
The refurbishment of the Duke Elder ward includes new theaters, a ward redesign and waiting area reconfiguration, improving patient experience and providing new, modern and fit-for-purpose accommodation and clinical pathways.
Hunters designed and delivered the refurbishment in collaboration with St. George’s NHS Foundation Trust. Previously Hunters have refurbished a number of areas within St. George’s Hospital, including A&E, UCC, Jenner Wing, administration areas and pediatrics, part of Hunters growing Healthcare design portfolio.
