St Margarets Way

Hunters Executive Architects created 46 high-quality council homes in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, for Dacorum Borough Council enabling the council to reach their 500th council home. The development offers a varied mix of one and two bedroom flats featuring private balconies, alongside two and three bedroom houses with private gardens.

The homes are arranged around a newly designed landscaped street that integrates natural play features and sustainable drainage systems. A shared courtyard garden planted with fruit trees creates a secluded communal space for residents to gather and relax.

Sustainability is embedded throughout the scheme, with eco-conscious features such as air source heat pumps, electric vehicle charging points, and a fabric-first approach that enhances thermal performance and comfort throughout the year.
