Our Triple Wins!

We are thrilled to announce that three Hunters design projects won planning approval, all based within the London Borough of Hillingdon.

One is situated in Northwood Hills near Pinner and the others in Yiewsley town centre, together they encompass two new libraries, a community hub and 104 homes, with 95 being affordable – much needed in the area.

We’re creating modern, friendly spaces that serve communities. Fully accessible by public transport, alongside the new developments are recreational park and public realm improvements to regenerate and modernise these sites.

James Wallace, Director commented ‘Libraries are a crucial part of our cultural DNA providing a place to learn, play and get respite. Hillingdon have invested in two important new community hubs as well as providing homes for many people in the borough. We look forward to seeing these projects come to fruition.’

The 3.5-storey new community library in Northwood Hills includes nine new apartments and a wrap-around garden. Designed in an attractive buff-stone brick, the new hub will feature a dedicated children’s play area, meeting rooms, an impressive book collection, projected interactive games for people with dementia, and state of the art charging for laptops.

Community consultation to achieve the enticing design was paramount, including making sure the adjacent school had a say in what the library should have and look like.

Work is expected to commence in 2024 with completion in 2026.
