EA Team delivers Healthcare with Keyworker Accommodation in London
Hunters EA team is leading on a new Health Centre and new affordable homes for key health workers located on Chiswick High Road. The two stage JCT tendering processes for NHS Property Services (the health centre) and the London Borough of Hounslow (residential). Both are in partnership with contractor Willmott Dixon for a combined £40m.
Now on site, with strip out and demolition completed, the impressive new health centre will be a welcome addition in Chiswick. The residential development for key health workers including nurses, provides 55 apartments ensuring key workers can access affordable homes in London.
The new health centre provides a range of services in an uplifting environment. Facilities include consulting and examination rooms, district nurse facilities and community rooms, new public community garden, private landscaped central courtyard and fifth floor terrace with gardens which enhances both local ecology and the health and wellbeing of visitors.
Amar Mahil commented ‘We are delighted to be delivering 55 new affordable homes for key health workers in the borough and another health care project that will be embedded into the Chiswick community’.
Councillor Tom Bruce, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Development at Hounslow Council, said: “I am delighted that residents in Chiswick will benefit from a new health facility. We want all residents in Hounslow to enjoy good health and this is a concrete example of us working with the NHS to achieve this goal.”
Around 60,000 patients are expected to use this new healthcare hub which replaces an existing and not fit for purpose doctors’ surgeries and health centre.
