Designs for Kingston Hospital ICU

Plans are progressing to build a new intensive care unit (ICU) nestled within the large Kingston Hospital site in Southwest London. Through extensive collaboration with the Trust, the design provides a new daylit intensive care unit.

The team has looked to create a more domestic feel throughout, with an emphasis on providing views of the sky, while a complimentary set of spaces have all been carefully considered to improve the experience of  relatives and staff.

The icing on the cake, is the sky garden to the roof, which provides a natural, outdoor experience for patients and a place of decompression for relatives and staff alike.
