Supporting our Community

This Christmas we have again supported the Lyric theatre in Hammersmith where an expected 35,000 people will see Aladdin, their lively Panto, and the captivating Raymond Briggs’ ‘Father Christmas’. As part of this, the theatre has raised funds to distribute free tickets to local organisations and family community groups, engaging with the local community and providing a platform for them to more easily access the arts. For many, this will be their first ever visit to the theatre, and the theatre will be reaching out to the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children and their families in our West London community. Previous groups tickets have gone to include Hestia, a local women and children refuge, the Red Cross for newly arrived Syrian refugees, and youth groups

The theatre is situated directly opposite our studios, it is renowned for producing leading theatre productions and also a comprehensive programme that nurtures and supports over 5,000 children and young people in our West London community.

We are really pleased to be supporters of this project, for a theatre we see every day, providing the opportunity for children and young people who live nearby to visit the theatre.

Our donation will provide 100 tickets for children and carers to celebrate the festive season at The Lyric.
