Hunters designed 63 mixed-tenure residential units with conservation area restrictions. The façades bring in daylight and give views to the landscaped courtyard.
Brackenbury Square
The Hunters designed collection of apartments replaces a petrol station and is adjacent to historic homes within a conservation area. With easy access to Central London, Westfield and Shepherds Bush Market the homes include both premier private apartments and housing association rented homes.
Set around a private courtyard most apartments have access to a balcony, terrace or garden. A number of community engagement briefings were held to establish a balance between redevelopment and fitting in, the solution is a stepped up façade reflecting adjacent housing proportions and materials – but a contemporary rather than a replicated design.
