A short walk from Bank, Aldgate, Tower Hill and Liverpool Street stations, this sexual health clinic is perfectly located to serve people living or working in the City of London.

The proposed area for the new clinic was quite constraining and challenging due to the existing footprint and central location, so the design had to challenge previous conceptions on how to use the space, to ensure the clinic had ample room and the experience was bright and airy for clients.
Working closely with Homerton Hospital staff, Hunters went for a less conventional space solution by using angled walls. This approach enabled maximum use of every square metre, with significant storage areas accommodated in “found” space, separating the clinical and back room staff areas, as well as creating comfortable circulation routes.
The construction process was challenging with site management difficulties because of the urban environment. Site logistics for this job had to be planned very carefully.
The design outcome is a welcoming environment and sophisticated space which enables full disabled access with secure check-in to keep privacy of clients at the forefront.
Leadenhall is a satellite clinic for Homerton Hospital.
