Blackhorse Yard

Backed by the Mayor of London and the GLA, Blackhorse Yard will be the first to deliver the Mayor’s 100% affordable housing initiative. The scheme will provide over 359 shared ownership homes ranging from 15-storeys, including retail, artists workshops, leisure and community workspace in the London Borough of Waltham Forest.

Managing the collaboration between Catalyst, Swan and the GLA, we have ensured the project has a clear communication strategy, open book accountability and risk management process. The proposed development aims to foremost integrate with and contribute to this thriving established community.

The projects will also provide new public spaces with a play area and landscaping, creating an attractive development that integrates with other buildings on Sutherland Road. Plans include a net increase of more than 100 trees, opportunities for community facilities on-site, and a new pedestrian crossing and cycling lane along Blackhorse Lane.
