Our Expertise

Originally Hunters was solely a Building Surveying practice, we have expanded our services to provide Employer’s Agent, Cost Consultancy, Quantity Surveying, CDM & Building Safety Act and Joint Venture. Consisting of a team large enough to provide specialist skills, yet focused enough to deliver a personal service, our core sectors include new-build housing, urban renewal and later living.

We are also leading the way in adaptive re-use and refurbishment, including remediation advice, providing a range of Building Consultancy services to deliver improvement works on behalf of our clients.

Employer’s Agent & Project Management

Acting as Employer’s Agent, we represent our clients’ interests throughout the project, overseeing contractual obligations, administering the building contract and coordinating the project team to ensure successful delivery. We work in partnership with all stakeholders to make the build process more efficient, managing risks and advancing projects towards completion. Our reputation is founded on consistency, reliability and expertise in the property sector.

Services include: Employer’s Agent, Project Management, Procurement advice, Risk Analysis & Management. Monitoring Surveyor and Joint Venture Supervisor.

Quantity Surveying

As the financial central figure, our Quantity Surveyors and Cost Consultants advise on how to manage the costs of a building project all the way through to completion. Analysing contracts, works, products and teams, we work closely with clients to manage the project efficiently and affordably.

Services include: Contract and Procurement Advice, Cost Planning & Estimating, Project & Fund Monitoring, Independent Certifier

Building Surveying

We specialise in assessing and reporting on building stock, primarily across the residential sector, including Higher Risk Buildings (HRBs) and large housing portfolios, as well as healthcare and commercial premises.

We are leading on a range of refurbishment, conversion and extension projects including working with property owners on change of use, remedial works and retrofits.

We also provide traditional Building Surveying duties including technical due diligence, Party Wall and neighbourly matters.

Services include: Stock condition surveys, defect analysis, remediation advice, contract administration and Party Wall & neighbourly matters.

Principal Designer & CDM / BSA Adviser

Our multidisciplinary CDM / BSA team brings together architectural, building consultancy, engineering, CDM and Building Regulations expertise to support projects from early design through to construction, completion and occupation.

We have successfully supported Gateway 2 and 3 submissions in healthcare and residential for High Rise Buildings (HRB’s) and are delivering a range of remedial projects around London.

We help clients understand their duties, manage risk, coordinate design and construction information, and maintain clear evidence of compliance throughout the life of a project.

Services include: Building Safety Act Consultancy, Principal Designer under the Building Regulations, Principal Designer under the CDM Regulations, CDM Adviser and health and safety site inspections

Joint Venture Supervisor

We have extensive knowledge of both the London market and its surrounding areas. Our team has introduced different parties to each other inspiring new schemes and effectively delivering Joint Venture Supervisory roles overseeing the activities, performance and coordination of a joint venture between the organisations.

Services include: Partnering with developers and registered providers, collaborating with consultant teams and project advice.
