John is a qualified Structural Engineer and leads Hunters’ Civil & Structural Engineering team, which he established in 2023. He has over 30 years UK experience spanning a wide range of sectors, including residential, retail, commercial, education and healthcare, working with both public and private sector clients.

John has grown the Civil & Structural Engineering team into a highly regarded practice, delivering innovative and robust design and specification. More recently the team have delivered numerous new-build, refurbishment, extension and structural alteration projects, often within complex and congested operational hospital environments or historical housing sites..

Working closely with project teams and clients, John is a proactive, creative and imaginative engineer who combines technical expertise with a practical approach to design. He is committed to delivering innovative, sustainable and cost-effective structural solutions that enhance both the quality and performance of the built environment.
