Rarely affordable housing is created in such a prestigious location, but Kensington and Chelsea has worked with Peabody to create new affordable housing at the back of Kensington Church Street. As part of the wider team, Hunters, acting as EA’s, have delivered fourteen new affordable homes with private terraces and / or balconies the residents will have a new public garden on their doorstep as part of the wider development. The tenants housed are from the councils housing waiting list.

New Healthcare Update
As the response to Covid continues, the after-effects of lockdown on a healthcare system are starting to materialise: the escalation of mental health care demand, increased waiting lists and a technical revolution. For many trusts and healthcare providers that’s a lot to address and keep up with.

Supporting our Community
This Christmas we have again supported the Lyric theatre in Hammersmith where an expected 35,000 people will see Aladdin, their lively Panto, and the captivating Raymond Briggs’ ‘Father Christmas’. As part of this, the theatre has raised funds to distribute free tickets to local organisations and family community groups, engaging with the local community and providing a platform for them to more easily access the arts.

We’ve designed a unique new GP Centre erected within the sports hall of the Froud Community Centre (now called Aston-Mansfield), London Borough of Newham. The three-storey building, part refurbishment and part new-build houses twelve consulting rooms, two treatment rooms, waiting areas, ancillary spaces, offices and staff welfare facilities.

Hunters has designed five new cardiac catheter labs for St George’s Hospital in South London, bringing state of the art technology to one of the country’s leading coronary centres.
