Five years; 23 schemes, 27 sites, 341 homes, £80 million build and 100% affordable homes.

Barnet, along with other suburban boroughs, took the strategy to deliver their affordable home programme through small sites. Hunters, originally acting as Project Managers, undertook the Employer’s Agent and Cost Consultancy activities for this significant project.  Sites included garages and infill of existing housing stock. The project has created a significant range of flats and houses reflecting the character of where they are based.

Charity football raises £5,500

Hunters keen (and not so keen) football team took part in L&Q Living’s annual charity event to raise money for Minds Matter FC, their football team for people living with Mental Health conditions.
Initially it was announced Hunters had won the group stages of the tournament, so the team enjoyed their moment of success until it was established they weren’t the winners (a bit of incorrect scoring). A thoroughly enjoyable tournament where we came 5th out of 8, with some aching team members the next day. Congratulations to all participants including the semi-finalists; and the winners. The funds raised enable Minds Matter FC to purchase new kits, pay for travel to matches, pitch fees and equipment.
