Our Double Triumph in Building Magazine’s Top 150 Consultants and Top 50 Architects 2023! 

Soaring higher than ever, our commitment to excellence has once again been acknowledged in one of the most prestigious industry rankings! We’re thrilled to have maintained our strong presence, securing the 86th spot among the Top 150 Consultants, and that’s not all – we’ve made an ascent from 37th to an impressive 33rd in the esteemed Top 50 Architects list for 2023.

These accolades come from Building Magazine’s annual rankings, recognising the key players in our field. This includes a diverse range of specialists, from quantity surveyors to project managers, engineers, and of course, architects.

We couldn’t be prouder of Team Hunters! So, here’s to more achievements, more milestones, and a future filled with groundbreaking projects.

Creating Care Homes Around London

Our award-winning team of architects have designed six new Later Living schemes in the London area, developing bespoke designs sympathetically crafted to reflect the architecture of their local areas. Ranging from an 87-bed care home situated adjacent to the district line in Fulham, to a classic design in the commuter town of Epsom.

Summer Undergraduates 2023

Every summer we welcome student placements at Hunters from University of Reading in our EA team. This year the placements included Emily Symons, seen here with Katie Grubb, EA and Kate Henry-Aston Chair at Hunters. We try and make their time with us both practical and engaging, experiencing different areas of our Building Consultancy team and the different roles to get a feel for the multi-faceted work we do. As our Chair, Kate Henry Aston commented ‘Construction offers many fantastic career options for young people.’

Good luck to all the new first years who have won their place at Reading, and we hope to meet many of you soon.

Unveiling the Innovative Gynaecology and Children’s Emergency Department

We proudly announce the completion of the energetic design of the new Waddesdon Wing at Stoke Mandeville Hospital, a visionary project by Hunters. With an expansion of over 3,000 square metres of vital space, it wasn’t just a construction endeavour; it was a symphony of partnership, creativity and pragmatism transforming the facilities at the hospital.

You’re immediately part of the atmosphere of youthful energy. The realm of paediatrics unfolds with a spirit that warms the soul. With interactive motion walls, turning waiting moments into delightful interactions, and vivid bursts of colours across the walls, while whimsical art pieces evoke playful smiles; the journey to the hospital and the experience is calming.

Reappointed on to expanding NHS Shared Business Services Framework

We have again successfully been awarded a place for ‘Architectural Consultancy Services’ on the new NHS SBS Framework for the next four years.  Our team has designed and delivered millions of pounds worth of projects for a range of NHS trusts through the previous framework. The process has enabled us to react quickly to NHS refurbishment and new build needs, create improved facilities for many hospitals, staff and patients, and provide a range of other architectural and space planning initiatives around the country.

Promotions at Hunters

We are pleased to announce that in our Architectural team Morgan Parrack has been promoted to Director on the Hunters Board, with Andrew Guy and Gabor Honfi promoted to Associate Directors.

Morgan joined Hunters as a student and has championed the growth of the Healthcare division directing a range of projects for both NHS trusts and private healthcare providers. He manages several complicated healthcare projects and is a firm believer in designing collaboratively and through consultation.

Critical Care Unit Completes

Part of the ongoing refurbishment at Homerton Hospital in Hackney and one of a number of projects which Hunters is designing for the Trust, the new Critical Care Unit, has been revamped. Located on the first floor, the new major internal refurbishment features state of the art upgrades and makes use of underutilised space to provide a better patient and staff experience and improved healthcare. Changes at Hunters

We are delighted to be taking the company forward from a very strong position and we are excited to build on the reputation and relationships that Hunters has established over the last 68 years with our team in Hammersmith. We will continue to lead and grow our multi-disciplinary services, ensuring our clients receive the outstanding service and professionalism that they expect.

We wanted to thank Sue and Neil, who remain as Consultants at Hunters, for their leadership and direction over the last few years.

As part of the ownership change, we have created new positions on the Hunters board with Kate Henry-Aston (now Chair), Mark Baines (now Managing Director) with Tim Ashton and James Wallace.

The rest of the board includes Directors representing our whole business, Graham Acus, Peter Gibson, David Capel, Amar Mahil and Guy Chapman ensuring Architecture, Surveying, EA and CDM / Principal Designer services remain a core part of our practice.

Susan Pasint-Magyar and Neil McCabe of Hunters are pleased to announce details of a change in ownership and structure of the Company.

With this announcement, we would like to confirm that the provision of all our current services within each sector will remain unchanged.

Sue and Neil will continue as Consultants to Hunters for the next 5 years and are looking forward to building on the reputation, relationships and growth that Hunters have established over the last 68 years.

Sue and Neil have relinquished their shareholdings in Hunters, which have been wholly acquired by Kate Henry-Aston as Chair, Mark Baines as Managing Director, Tim Ashton and James Wallace who will lead the multi-disciplinary practice.

We would like to thank everyone at Hunters and all our Clients who have worked with us for the last 32 years, yes!!!…that’s how long we have both been at Hunters.
